Games and game technology are poised to transform the way we educate and train students at all levels. Education and information, skill training, even political and religious beliefs can be communicated via video games. But these games and repurposed game technology, collectively called "serious games", have yet to be fully embraced by educators. India's premier business management school, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, seems to have endorsed environment friendly and social-inclusive businesses as the future of global business. The IIM-A's concern about the issues can be seen from the emerging details about the institute's upcoming 11th annual business summit, dubbed the biggest such summit in Asia-Pacific.

The first evidence of this endorsement is the recently concluded online simulation competition called Mousetrap, which was conducted by IIM-A in association with the developer Tycoon Systems to kick-start the 11th summit, called Confluence'09.
